This engraved silver belt buckle consists of two interlocking halves, each one measuring about 2 x 2 1/2 inches each. Both pieces are engraved with leaf and plant motifs over the entire front surface. Each piece has a stamped mark:(84 within a rectangle ) on the reverse side. The 84 is a Russian silver mark. It dates circa 1880-1920. It is in very good condition, with the exception of one loose solder point on one of the two belt ring clips on the reverse. |
