| A pair of Islamic oil lamps. The first is a beautiful glazed example, c. 12th - 15th Century, with channel spout and tall neck and spout; H: 3 1/2" (8.9 cm); L: 4 1/2" (11.4 cm); the second a terracotta 'saucer’ type lamp, Eastern Mediterranean, c. 10th - 13th Century, with small raised body at center of concave dish, fill-hole at top and large handle, Dia: 3 3/4" (9.5 cm). The glazed lamp with some minor chipping, but both nice examples of Islamic period lamps. Ex old English private collection. | ||
