Beautiful and rare sterling and obsidian bracelet by master Mexican silversmith Abraham Paz,c.1930 . Pieces with his own hallmark are rare to find as many of his designs were bought by Fred Davis who then used his own hallmark on the creation. Between 2 rows of sterling beads strung on chain are 23 saw tooth bezel set round turquoise and 23 saw tooth bezel set graduated coral pendants suspended from the bottom of the second row of sterling beads. The necklace measures 14 1/2"end to end but an extender could be added if needed...

He began working in 1938 and was a silversmith for Frank Patania Sr. in the Thunderbird Shop. He made this belt buckle during his time there.
