This is a spectacular sterling and green stone necklace and bracelet by Felipe Martinez. His workshop , Piedra Y Plata, opened in 1950, was considered by his peers to be one of the best silver shops in Taxco. His stone setting skills were stellar and the stones he used were always of exceptional quality as exemplified by this set. The necklace measures 15 1/2" end to end, is 1" wide and weighs 140 grams. The bracelet measures 7" end to end, is 1" wide and weighs 71 grams...

A rare and early sterling and azur-malachite bracelet by Sigi Pineda. The impeccable fusing of stone with silver is much like the work of Enrique Ledesma. The bracelet is hinged and the opening is on the side of the wrist. Measuring 7" around in the inside, it is 1 1/4" wide at the widest point. All original, fine condition and signed as shown. Possibly custom made and one of a kind.

This is an exquisite sterling bracelet with large cabachon emerald and obsidian stones and pearls by Salvador Teran. The bracelet measures 6 1/2" around in the inside, 1 1/2" wide at the widest point and weighs 64 grams. It opens and closes in the back and has an intact safety chain. It is all original and in fine condition. There are no chips or cracks to the stones. The emerald has natural inclusions typical of emeralds. The color of the emerald is deeper than reflected in the photos...

Magnificent Fred Davis silver and onyx bracelet. This is a larger scale than the silver and amethyst bracelet of this same design that I have listed. This bracelet measures 7 1/4" end to end and is 1" wide. It weighs 62 grams and is in fine original condition. Signed as shown. Classic Fred Davis and beautiful in every way.

A magnificent 970 silver, amethyst and moonstone bracelet by Antonio Pineda. A rare design with two kinds of stones that are very complimentary in color. The bracelet measures 7" around in the inside and is 3/4" wide. It weighs 74 grams and is in fine original condition. The stones are all original and there are no chips or cracks to any of them. The safety chain is intact and the push in clasp is tight. It is extremely beautiful and rarely seen.

A beautiful and rare silver and gold ring by William Spratling c. 1940. I do not know if the balls are solid gold or a gold wash over silver. Simple and elegant, it is a size 7 and suitable for a man or woman. It is in fine original condition (lines on the balls are reflections)and signed Spratling Silver Made in Mexico...

This is an extraordinary sterling bird pin/pendant by Salvador Teran. It is a magnificent example of his fascination with overlapping planes. The front feathers stand out in front of an oxidized background and the tail feathers move freely and swing. This is a large piece measuring 3 3/8" long and 1 3/8" wide. It is in fine original condition, weighs 26 grams, and hallmarked and numbered as shown. It is a remarkable example of this artists' imagination and creativity.

Beautiful and rare sterling and carved obsidian mask bracelet by Abraham Paz,c.1930 . Pieces with his own hallmark are rare to find as many of his designs were bought by Fred Davis who then used his own hallmark on the creation. This bracelet measures 6 1/2" end to end and is 3/4" wide. It is in fine original condition and signed as shown. A great opportunity to own a Paz piece.

A beautiful mid-century modern sterling and azur-malachite necklace and matching clip earrings by Erika Hult de Corral. Erika trained as an artist in Paris and then moved to Taxco in the 60s. She apprenticed with Sigi Pineda and his influence is surely reflected in the spectacular design of these pieces. The necklace measures 19" long and is 1 1/8" wide at the front. It has a secure push in clasp. The earrings measure 3/4" long and 1/2" wide...

EXQUISITE sterling and red Mediterranean coral hair band by Frank Patania Sr. Beautiful center floral design complimented by the side raindrop shaped stones. This hair band measures 13" around in the inside and is 1 1/4" wide at the center flower. It is all original and in fine condition. It is hallmarked in two places as shown. Fabulous in every way.

One of the very best Los Ballesteros bracelets I have seen, this hinged sterling cuff has intricate applied wirework and 4 spectacular bezel set cabachon azur-malachite stones. This is an early and very large and beautiful pin by Matilde Poulat. All of the coral and turquoise stones are present and original and the faceted amethyst is a rare touch. This intricate piece measures 3 1/4" wide and 3 1/4" long. Excellent original condition and signed MATL in script. A remarkable example of her early work.

A terrific hand made sterling bracelet of squares by contemporary German born silversmith Agnes Seebass. She apprenticed in the Los Castillo workshop in Taxco and her work was represented in the William Spratling MAESTRO DE PLATA exhibit. Her pieces were featured on page 67 of the catalogue to the exhibit and Marbeth Schon wrote an article about her in the most recent edition of MODERN SILVER magazine in which she pictured this bracelet. It measures 7 1/4" end to end and is 1 1/4" wide...

A beautiful concho belt suitable for a man or woman by Frank Patania Sr. The overall length of the belt is 41". There are 8 conchos and the buckle. Each oval shaped concho measures approximately 2 3/4" long and 2 1/2" wide. The buckle is identical to the conchos but larger at approximately 3 1/4" long and 2 3/4" wide.It is in fine original condition and signed as shown. It is simply magnificent.

An extraordinary and rare sterling three dimensional necklace by Georg Jensen Denmark. I have never seen this necklace before and believe that it is quite rare. There is a similar necklace designed by Arno Malinowski featured on page 155 of the book GEORG JENSEN A TRADITION OF SPLENDID SILVER by Janet Drucker. The necklace measures 15 1/4" end to end and is 1 1/8" wide. It is in fine original condition and signed and numbered for Georg Jensen Denmark as shown...

This is a very unique sterling concho belt by Frank Patania Sr. The overall length of the belt is 31”. There are 9 conchos and the buckle. Each concho is approximately 2 ¾” long and approximately 2” wide. Each concho has a textured and oxidized background with two attached hand-stamped "button/dangle" combinations. The buckle is identical to the other conchos except the background is not textured, just oxidized. The buckle is also the same size as the conchos...
