The shape of the links is so striking and all are individually hinged so the bracelet has lots of movement. A large and bold mid-century moderne sterling and tiger eye ring by Taxco silversmith Antonio Pineda. The stone is fabulous - great color and striations. And BIG-- The ring is 1 1/2" long and 1 1/8" wide. It is a size 9 but can be sized without loss of the mark.The ring is plain in the back. Suitable for a man or woman, it is in fine condition but has a very slight split in one side section of the bezel. It does not detract from the ring in any way...

A rare and spectacular handwrought sterling repousse cuff by silversmith Peer Smed. He was trained in Denmark, came to the U.S. and worked for Tiffany & Co., then later opened his own shop in New York. The workmanship of this bracelet is superb.The flower and leaves look alive. His pieces are hard to find and this is the first bracelet made by Smed that I have ever seen. Measuring 5 1/4" around in the inside with a 1" opening, it is 1 1/8" wide in the front and tapers to 1/2" in the back...

A superb necklace by Carmen Beckmann. Rare to find, it has 6 oval bezel set unfaceted amethysts as the focus of each of the six panels. Measuring 16 1/2" end to end and 1' wide, it weighs 95 grams and is in fine original condition. There are no chips or cracks in the stones. Lines that you see are natural inclusions all under the surface of the stone. Circa 1960-70, this is a beautiful necklace.

Striking sterling necklace by Reveriano Castillo. He was among the first apprentices with William Spratling and later worked with Hector Aguilar at the Taller Borda. In 1952, he and Maria Castillo opened their own shop that they called "REVERI". This necklace is simple and elegant as typical of their style. It measures 16" end to end, is 1" wide and weighs 68 grams. Fine original condition and signed with his RC mark as shown. Feels and looks wonderful on the neck.

A fabulous and unusual 2 1/4" wide sterling cuff with pearls and onyx by Los Ballesteros. The scalloped edges really dress up this piece. It measures 6" around in the inside and has a 1 1/4" opening. It is not adjustable and weighs 66 grams.This is an early piece, c. 1945. Fine original condition and hallmarked for Los Ballesteros as shown. This is a beautiful cuff.

A great pair of mid-century modern 970 silver and turquoise earrings by Antonio Pineda. Inspired by the Greek key design, these screwback earrings measure 1 1/8" long and 3/4" at the widest point. Beautiful original condition and hallmarked with the Antonio crown , eagle ,Hecho En Mexico 970. These are unique and awesome!

A smashing, HUGE, sterling repousse cuff by Italian designer Guglielmo Cini. Gorgeous swirling pattern, solid weight at 113 grams. It is in beautiful original condition and is c. 1940. Measures 2 5/8" wide and 5 3/4" around in the inside with a 1 1/4" opening so for a 7" wrist. Signed G. Cini Sterling. An absolutely stunning bracelet and just in time for the holidays!

A rare and possibly custom made hand wrought sterling and Wedgwood pin from the Chicago Arts & Crafts workshop Kalo. Unusual and beautiful, this pin measures 1 3/4" by 1 3/8" and is in fine original condition. The center piece reverse is signed WEDGWOOD in etching and the frame is signed WROUGHT STERLING KALO. This is a really special piece.

An amazing sterling bracelet by Modernist Arthur King. King had a shop on Madison Avenue in New York City in the 1960's. Most of his pieces have caged stones and I have never seen a bracelet offered before. This unusual and interesting piece is sterling with a light gold wash. There are various shaped and size cutouts as well as uneven edges making the focus of the bracelet. It is 2" wide and 5 3/4" around in the inside with an opening that is 1" at one end and 1 1/2" at the other...

A fabulous hand hammered silver and acid etched pin from the notable Chicago Arts & Crafts workshop Carence Crafters. Pieces from this workshop are scarce and highly collectible.They represent some of the finest handmade work from the American Arts & Crafts period ,1890-1920. This is a large piece measuring 2 3/4" by 2 1/4". It is all original and in fine condition. Hallmarked with the interlocking C hallmark as shown. A rare example from this great workshop.

Large, exquisite silver and amethyst brooch by Fred W. Davis, c. 1930. Davis combined amethyst quartz and silver in many of his pieces. This massive brooch measures 3 1/3" by 1 1/2" and is in fine original condition. It weighs 43 grams and is signed FD Silver Mexico as shown. I have never seen this piece offered before and believe it to be quite rare. A stunning blazer or coat pin and an important piece from Fred Davis.

Very early, pre-eagle mark, sterling necklace by Los Castillo. A bold and important piece, it is featured on page 87 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk. They date it c. 1945. Beautiful geometric design, it measures 15" around total. The center section is 4 1/2" across and 1 1/2" wide. Solid at 135 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed for Los Castillo as shown. It is gorgeous in every way.

A wonderful wide,abstract sterling bracelet signed A.Gusterman, Denver Sterling. The overlapping links are rounded and form fitting to the wrist which is most flattering. Measuring 6 3/4" end to end and 1 5/8" wide, it weighs a substantial 79 grams. Fine original condition. Sure to be a favorite bracelet.

A terrific abstract mid-century modern sterling bracelet by Taxco silversmith Sigi Pineda. It is hinged in the back and pulls open in the front at the horizontal lines, most ingenious! The bezel set aventurine stone is a nice touch. These are the kind of designs for which Sigi is most celebrated. The bracelet is 6 3/4" around in the inside and 1 1/8" wide at the front.It weighs 60 grams.Signed for vintage Sigi Pineda as shown. A really special bracelet from this great designer.
