This is a spectacular sterling and green stone necklace and bracelet by Felipe Martinez. His workshop , Piedra Y Plata, opened in 1950, was considered by his peers to be one of the best silver shops in Taxco. His stone setting skills were stellar and the stones he used were always of exceptional quality as exemplified by this set. The necklace measures 15 1/2" end to end, is 1" wide and weighs 140 grams. Great looking mid-century sterling link bracelet by Modernist Paul Lobel. It is 7 1/2" end to end and terminates with a simple hook closure. Each link measures 1 1/4" by 1/2". The oxidation in the background of one side of each link is intentional and by design. It photographed uneven in some of the pictures, but is not.
