| A stunning and inspired sterling necklace by Zuni silversmith Veronica Poblano featuring vibrant colored gems of pyrite, druzy quartz and chrysoprase. It is a magnificent combination of colors and texture. Veronica Pobalano is the daughter of Leo Poblano who is famous for the development of Zuni mosaic inlay jewelry. She is the winner of numerous awards for her pieces and in 1994, a large collection of her jewelry was showcased in a top gallery in Japan which resulted in growing circles of international collectors and Hollywood actors being attracted to her work. This pendant measures 3 1/4" long including the bail. It is signed Veronica in 2 places on the pendant. The pendant is new and I purchased it directly from the artist in 2010 at Indian Market in Santa Fe , New Mexico. It was an honor to meet this incredible artist. | ||
