A magnificent sterling hand made belt buckle with approximately 30 carats of Lone Mountain turquoise by Santo Domingo Pueblo silversmith Julian Lovato. He began working in 1938 and was a silversmith for Frank Patania Sr. in the Thunderbird Shop. He made this belt buckle during his time there. It measures 2 7/8" by 2 3/8" , weighs 91 grams,and is in fine original condition. There are no chips or cracks to the stone which is spectacular. Suitable to be worn by a man or woman. It is signed as shown. A very rare and exquisite piece.
