Long, bold sterling and turquoise earrings by Navajo silversmith Johnny Mike Begay. These are screw backs that measure 2 3/4" long and are in fine original condition with no chips or cracks to the stones. Signed as shown. Begay worked at the White Hogan Shop in Scottsdale, Arizona as well as privately and won numerous awards for his jewelry which can be found in many private and museum collections. His work was featured in the 2002 exhibit “Jewels of the Southwest” at the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Beautiful on.
