| Early 826 silver Danish Skonvirke pin by Bernard Hertz. Beautiful design of a winged insect with floral details. The center blossom is a cabachon crysoprase or dyed green chalcedony. This pin measures 2" by 1 1/2" and is in fine original condition. There is no damage repairs or changes to the pin. The two indentations seen on the back of the pin are in the way the pin was made and is not damage or repair.It has a "C" clasp and is signed 826 BH a dragonfly hallmark and another hallmark that I cannot decipher, shown in the photo. This pin is featured on page 236 of the book WARMAN'S JEWELRY, 3RD EDITION by Christie Romero. She dates it c. 1905-10. A wonderful Danish Skonvirke pin. | ||
