A rare and stunning faceted amethyst and sterling ring by the Chicago Arts & Crafts workshop Kalo, founded in 1900. This is the first Kalo ring I have ever seen, only having come across necklaces, bracelets, pins and earrings before. The engraving on the setting is exquisite and the amethyst is large and brilliant, measuring 3/4" long and 5/8" wide. The stone and entire ring is in fine original condition. It is a size 8 and suitable for a man or a woman. It can not be sized without loosing the signature. Signed Kalo Sterling as shown in the photo. A remarkable Kalo ring.
