Rare and magnificent Hector Aguilar 990 silver and obsidian bracelet. This same bracelet, but with malachite stones, is featured on page 24 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Morrill. They date is c. 1940. The round black cabachon stones appear at first glance to be onyx, however in certain light, the greenish, brownish irridescence of the stones can be seen ( see photo #5)and it is clear that they are indeed obsidian. This smashing bracelet is in fine original condition. It measures 7" around in the inside, is 3/4" wide and has a pin closure. It weighs 85 grams and is signed for Hector Aguilar as shown in the photo. I have never seen this bracelet offered before and know that you do not want to miss owning this fabulous piece.
