A fantastic sterling and azur-malachite necklace and matching screwback earrings by Taxco silversmith Enrique Ledesma. Known for his impeccable way of fusing stone with silver, this set is an astounding example of his skill. The teardrop shaped links are vertical and then horizontal. The color of the stones a beautiful mottled green. Fine original condition, the necklace is 17 1/2" end to end and 1 1/4" wide at the vertical front links. Secure push in clasp. The earrings are 1 1/8" long and 5/8" at the widest point. Both the necklace and earrings are signed and numbered for Enrique Ledesma. A rare and superb set.
