| A magnificent sterling and stone s-curved motif necklace, bracelet and screwback earrings set by Felipe Martinez. His workshop , Piedra Y Plata, opened in 1950, was considered by his peers to be one of the best silver shops in Taxco. This magnificent set is featured on page 189 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk. They date is c. 1955. The necklace measures 16 1/2" end to end and is 1 1/4" wide. The bracelet measures 7 1/4" end to end and is 1" wide. The screwback earrings are 1" long. All pieces are hallmarked as shown and in fine original condition. This ensemble is a testament to Martinezs' dedication to technical perfection and exquisite artistry. | ||
