This is a spectacular sterling and green stone necklace and bracelet by Felipe Martinez. His workshop , Piedra Y Plata, opened in 1950, was considered by his peers to be one of the best silver shops in Taxco. His stone setting skills were stellar and the stones he used were always of exceptional quality as exemplified by this set. The necklace measures 15 1/2" end to end, is 1" wide and weighs 140 grams. The bracelet measures 7" end to end, is 1" wide and weighs 71 grams. Both pieces are in fine original condition. There are no chips or cracks in the stones. Both pieces are hallmarked as shown in the photos. This is a truly rare and beautiful set and should be treasured.
