This is a spectacular sterling and turquoise ring by Navajo silversmith Gibson Nez. Featuring deep line chisel work, Nez was a master of this technique.Deceased on December 1,2007, he was a self taught silversmith who won the prestigious Smithsonian Medal of Honor, more than 700 blue ribbons, was featured in magazines and books and was a featured guest artist in many museums and galleries across the United States. This ring is a size 6 and in fine original condition with no chips or cracks to the stone which has fabulous color. The face of the stone measures 1 1/8" by 1" so it is a bold look and the zig zag band with chisel lines is unique and precise. Signed as shown. A truly great ring.
