| Gorgeous, long sterling earrings with chisel and stamp work by Navajo silversmith Gibson Nez who was a master of these techniques. Deceased on December 1,2007, he was a self taught silversmith who won the prestigious Smithsonian Medal of Honor, more than 700 blue ribbons, was featured in magazines and books and was a featured guest artist in many museums and galleries across the United States. These earrings are 3 1/4" long and have posts for pierced ears. Nez started producing in 1976 and these earrings are a rare example of his early work. They are in fine original condition and signed as shown. Spectacular looking on. A truly remarkable pair of earrings and a work of art. | ||
