This man's watch double chain with a slide is about 9-3/4" long. Both the chain and the slide are gold filled. On one end there is a toggle bar for insertion in a vest buttonhole and a swivel hook for attaching a fob. The watch would be inserted in the vest pocket. It dates to about 1900. With a slight adjustment in the length, the chain could be converted to a woman's bracelet or hooked to another similar chain to make a necklace. The condition is excellent antique condition with very slight wear on a couple of spots on the slight, but they are hardly noticeable without a loupe.

This small pair of earrings is set in 18K white gold. They weigh a total of 7.2 dwt. or 11.2 g. and are very comfortable to wear, not too light, not too heavy. There is a total of 2.15 ct. of champagne diamonds plus 1 ct. of white diamonds. There is a European or French back which is very secure. There are small white diamonds on the front of the section that goes in the ear. The main part of the earring is a diamond shape with rounded corners that dangles from the top, 5/8" on each side. The frame of the diamond shape is channel set with small diamonds, and the center has larger stones in varied colors and shapes. The colors range from white to light yellow, deep yellow and champagne or cognac. The shapes include round, marquise, pear and cushion. Even the back of the earring is beautifully designed and finished, a sure sign of a quality piece. The earrings date to about the 1970's, and the condition is like new, never worn.

This pendant is 2" high by 1-1/4" wide and it weighs 16.8 dwt. or 26.7 g. It is formed with a large, unpolished lapis of deep blue color surrounded by a frame of 18K yellow gold. There are sea creatures applied to the stone: a shell at the bottom, a starfish with diamond center at right, a crab with sapphire eyes. At the top is a whimsical octopus that forms the bail with diamond eyes and two diamonds in the legs. The octopus also functions to hold the stone in place at the top and bottom. Incredibly, I have found no maker's mark on this extraordinary piece, and I suspect that it may have been produced by a special jewelry artist. I have tested the gold and guarantee that it is 18K. The piece dates to about the 1970's and the condition is excellent.

This is an old cocktail ring, size 6-1/4, from about the 1920's in 14K white gold. The ring can easily be sized. There are no marks on the ring, but I have tested it and guarantee that it is 14K. There are three old European cut diamonds in the center in a vertical design. Each stone is about 7-8 pts. each, for a total of 21-24 pts. The diamonds are pretty clean and bright, no carbon. There is geometric engraving in the setting and some piercing on the sides to enhance the design. The top of the ring is 5/8 high, 3/8" wide. It can be worn on the ring finger or even the pinkie. The ring dates to about the 1920's, and the condition is excellent.

This 14K yellow gold ring is about a size 7-3/4 and can be sized. Since the shank is wide in the front, it is necessary to allow an extra 1/4 - 1/2 size over your normal size. The ring is 1/2 inch wide at the front, 1/4 inch wide at the back and weighs 8.2 g. or 5.3 dwt. There are eight diamond baguettes, about 5 pts. each, set vertically in the front. In the center is a 6 mm round prong set amethyst of very fine, deep color. The ring could be worn as it is, or used as a setting to showcase another colored stone like a sapphire or ruby or a diamond. The ring dates to about the 1960's, and the condition is excellent.

This pair of earrings is one inch in diameter. The large mabe pearls in the center are 18 mm surrounded by a graceful swirling frame in 14K yellow gold which is 3/16" wide. The pearls are 1/2" high and have excellent luster. The backs are omega clips without a post. A post can be added, and I can have this done for you. Sometimes, however, a large earring like this fits better without the post; it depends on how your ears are pierced. The earrings date to about the 1970's, and the condition is excellent.

This pair of earrings is 22K yellow gold, marked on a plaque on the back of one of the earrings. Each side is 11/16", just under 3/4", and the total weight is 9 dwt or 14 g. The earrings are slightly dome shaped. There is a post and omega clip on the back. The earrings are handmade. In the center is a fine quality bezel set diamond about 15 pts, surrounded by channel set calibre cut rubies, further surrounded by a pierced, hand cut border of Greek key design.
