This exquisite Georgian leaf pin is executed primarily in silver with the bug on top set in gold. The leaf is 1-3/8" wide, just under 1-1/2" by 1-1/8". It is pave set in silver with fine, clear old small turquoise cabochons and topped by a bug in gold. The bug has a baroque white pearl body, possibly a natural pearl, with a bezel set faceted ruby center, bezel set ruby eyes and 10 rose cut diamonds on the wings. There are no stones missing. The pin on the back appears to be original with an updated safety clasp to replace the original C clasp. Even the setting on the silver back has an elaborate design in a place where only the wearer would see it. The pin dates to about 1830. There are no marks, and the pin may be French to judge from the fine work.

This 14K white gold ring consists of five narrow bands held together in the back and set with diamonds on the top. The bands are bead set with small diamonds, interspersed with 12 prong set diamonds of about 5-6 pts each, raised above the rest of the setting. There is slight side movement in the separate, individual bands, but they do not move up and down. Of course, when the ring is on the finger, the bands line up precisely. The band is about .5" wide on the top, about .3" wide at the back. The ring is a size 7, but when you buy a ring with a wide shank, you should add an extra quarter or half size to your normal size, so I would recommend this ring for someone who usually wears a size 6-1/2. Because of the construction at the back, it would be difficult to change the size of this ring. This style is known as a Hawaiian wedding band or harem ring and dates to about the 1950's. It is indistinctly marked ER....14K inside the shank. The condition is excellent.

This pair of earrings is one inch in diameter. The large mabe pearls in the center are 18 mm surrounded by a graceful swirling frame in 14K yellow gold which is 3/16" wide. The pearls are 1/2" high and have excellent luster. The backs are omega clips without a post. A post can be added, and I can have this done for you. Sometimes, however, a large earring like this fits better without the post; it depends on how your ears are pierced. The earrings date to about the 1970's, and the condition is excellent.

This is a rare and special covered tureen with handpainted Chinoiserie decoration. The tureen is 5-1/2" high to the finial, 10-1/2" wide by 9-1/4". The handpainted decoration in cobalt blue, orange-red, green and gold depicts Chinese pagodas on the top of the lid and inside the base of the tureen. There are no maker's marks, but I have identified the tureen to date to 1813-1820 with a picture on p. 100 of Godden's Guide to Mason's China and The Ironstone Wares. Amazingly for a piece which is almost 200 years old, the condition is excellent, no chip cracks or repairs. This came from the estate of a family which obviously treasured the tureen.
