| This cameo brooch measures 1-5/8" high by 1-3/8" wide. The finely detailed shell cameo is set in a gold bezel and the entire piece is surrounded by gray seed pearls. There are roses in the hair, in relief from the surface of the cameo. The entire back is covered in 14K yellow gold and so marked at the bottom. The C shape safety catch indicates that the piece is 19th century. The condition is excellent. | ||
