I like this tunic as it really tells its own story. It is a brown walking out type tunic. In the close up of the medal bar the pocket flap is pulled up to show the fabric underneath, showing the age toning of the outside of the tunic. The 8 space ribbon bar shows a combination of Imperial and Third Reich medals including army long service, Eastern front 1941 and WWI iron cross with 1939 spange. There are medal loops below the ribbon bar; It looks like an Iron Cross 1st Class is missing but the WWI wound badge is included. The breast eagle shows some wear to the bullion but is still very nice. On the pocket under the eagle are loops for another medal, due to location and size I would guess it would be for a German Cross. Nuremberg maker label is in collar. White neck band is still well in place. The only real damage is one little moth nip on the inside collar which can be seen in the close up photo of the maker label. This tunic is neat because it tells the gentleman's story. Really a very interesting tunic.
