This is a plaque I have not seen before so I imagine it is relatively scarce. Central is the DAF cogwheel emblem above which are workers; Industriasl worker, doctor and delivery man maybe. Below is the slogan "Ehret die Arbeit und achtet den Arbeiter ADOLF HITLER" which basically translates to "Adolf Hitler honors the work and respects the employees". How nice. The actual plate measures 15cmx10cm. Marked on lower left FERD (?) WAGNER PFURZHEIM and again below the figures MULLER-ERFURT. I imagine one is the caster and one is the artist. The right two nails are out. One is missing the other is included. I don't like to fix anything so didn't want to go banging on the thing trying to get a nail back in. It is a tiny and uncomplicated nail so the other shouldn't be hard to replace. Not a splashy military valor award but still a scarce item priced fairly. The next owner might want to replace the wood which is old and bowed and is the likely reason the nails are out. This is a normal occurrence. Not a splashy military valor award but still a scarce item priced fairly.
