Very attractive dress bayonet with brown leather frog indicative of Luftwaffe personnel. The Eickhorn marked bayonet is in great shape with no particular damage to speak of. The blade shows only 3 little spots along the edge on one side (See photos), otherwise clean and mirror bright. The handle fittings are all equally clean and the plug remains in the slot. This green plug is a scarcer variety. The brown frog is a winner with nice, healthy leather. Nice backmarking JOSEPH MOLL GOCH 1937. Scabbard has no dents but shows good amount of age wear. The knot is gorgeous with no damage or even loose threads. The yellow-gold stem indicates the third unit of respective squadron, battery or company depending on the unit type in question. Really a nice bayonet given a great look by a visually pleasing knot.
