Interesting ID not very commonly found. This is ID card for an air raid warden. The town is Bruchhausen on the western side of Germany. In 2011 it had a population of under 1000. Issued in January of 1943 which is probably about when air raid wardens really became necessary. These were important people in the civil community during war time and even had special plaques to put on their front doors so they could be found easily. The plaques are far more common then the ID and this would be probably be a nice looking addition to display with a plaque.
