Very cool stickpin from the group Antifaschistische Aktion. This group existed in a very small window from 1932 to 1933. They were created as an armed militant wing of the German Communist Party specifically to combat the SA and other Nazi paramilitary groups. Oh, the good old street fighting days. This stickpin is from that brief one year window. German Communist material was generally disposed of as it was almost a certain concentration camp visit if one was found with it. This piece would probably be even more dangerous as this group was strictly for fighting purposes. Interestingly enough, Antifaschistische Aktion was revived during the 1980's as an organization to oppose bigotry and intolerance. This is a fascinating little stickpin.
