Ein Kampf um Deutschland 1933. Wow, what a cool and historically significant piece. This is an early 1933 magazine probably put together if not released before the seizure of power as it very closely follows the propaganda of that rise to power where they were instilling fear in the people and presenting themselves as the force that could save them. This extremely interesting 31 page magazine is stuffed with virulent propaganda covering the infectious spread of communism and presenting issues such as how the communists are sexually exploiting German youth. One example photo shows a communist Red Front parade with banners marching through a gate. the next photo shows what we are supposed to assume is a communist loitering very closely (up against) a young German boy in the same archway-See image 4. Also shows photographs and graphic sketches of violent street fights between SA men and communist demonstrators showing the reader how the noble SA men are fighting t protect them from this evil. Just absolutely great material if you have an interest in propaganda. The last page is an early portrait of Hitler standing in front of some extremely hard looking SA men at the height of the street fighting days. The magazine is a low cost production printed on cheap paper so it is amazing that it survives in this extremely clean and sharp condition. There are minor signs of wear but overall in surprisingly good condition.
