Absolutely gorgeous gold wound badge back marked 65 for the firm Klein & Quenzer. The badge itself is about as god as it comes with the front showing a stone cold 100% gold gilt finish. There are a couple of spots on the back where the finish is not absolutely perfect (Sorry) and these are separated by the pin as we would expect from normal rubs. But the back finish is easily better then 90%. Pin assembly is perfect and the 65 is crisp and raised. You could look for a long time and likely not find one nicer. The red cardstock case is also in great shape. The interior is very clean and there are no tears which says a lot as these are very flimsy boxes. There is gentle wear to the box, mostly along the four bottom edges, but this is still a very good example. While red boxes are generally accepted to be for silver wound badges this is how I got this pair and I think I want to keep them together. Phenomenal gold wound badge.
