| Imperial German sword knot. Strap is a thin leather so it is actually quite surprising to find this in such nice condition. There is one tiny weak spot in the leather right under the slide, small enough to not show in any photos; It is about 1/8 inch and obscured by the slide itself. The stem and acorn are, without exageration, as nice as I have ever seen on this type knot. For obvious reasons this type knot is nicknamed the "shaving brush". | |||||
