| Rare Wurttemberg M-89 sword by Carl Eickhorn firm. This one is in cherry condition. Handle is just about perfect with grip and wire wrap like new. Attractive monogram on backstrap near pommel probably corresponds to the unit. Finger loop is present and tucked underneath sword knot. Knot is complete but does have some weak spots. Acorn is very nice. WKC marked blade is near mint with no damage to speak of. Anodized scabbard has one small ding and is otherwise in terrific shape with just light wear evident near the drag and a couple of very light scratches near the carrying rings. This sword is in remarkable condition and represents a state that is hard to find. | ||||||||||||
