One super regimental stein. The top is actually a Bavarian pickelhaube helmet in excellent detail, dedicated to Reservist Kratzl. Rear is dated 1900-1902 3/8 Metz. Thumb press has a gorgeous imperial eagle under helmet, swords and polearms. Detail of helmet is acurate right down to the cruciform spike base, pearl ring and cut out crown indicative of an officer. Detail of stein itself shows one panel of happily drinking soldiers and two panels of patriotic military motif including shields, helmets with an impressive array of swords, polearms, morning starts and the like. One chip on the bottom lip and one very small nick on the bottom edge of one panel (See last two photos). Despite the minor chips this is a most unique stein and would be a great addition to even an advanced collection. A recent attic find, this one even has thick dust in recesses that I would not even think of cleaning off. This is just a really neat stein.
