| This 2 3/4 inch Pendant was Hand Wrought Likely from Aluminum Wire and would have had a cord connected to wear as a necklace. Both Alexander Calder and Harry Bertoia are well listed American Artists, Sculptors and Designers who at one point in their careers designed and produced a limited amount of hand made jewelry. Their jewelry is from the 1930s to 1950s and always unmarked. This piece comes direct from an old Minneapolis Estate filled with fine Modern Decorative Arts. It is my consignor, an experienced modernist collector, that this pendant is the work of Calder or Bertoia. Very rare. | |||||
