| Exceptional 14K yellow gold art nouveau locket with chain from original Kansas City estate. Circa 1890-1915. From a VERY OLD appraisal of $3700 from a reputable St. Paul jewelers. The locket measures 40.4mm round and has hand engraving on the back (DEN). Front has a raised profile of a lady with flowing hair and a three diamond collar necklace. There are seven old European cut diamonds set in the hair. The diamonds are approximately 0.005 ct. each and SI quality. The chain is also yellow gold, hand assembled art noveau style and stamped 14K. The chain has alternating links: one that is curb link style and the other a “flowing swirl” design typical of the period. The chain measures 23 inches long and has a 3 inch attachment that attaches by spring ring to the main chain. Total weight 23.21 Dwt Tested yellow gold | ||||||
