| Fleeing to Egypt, Mary, Joseph and the Christ Child are in front of the town wall, 19 1/2 inches long and 15 inches tall with a red-roofed tower. There are 2 figures, Mary on a donkey with the Christ Child in her arms (4 1/2 inches tall) and Joseph (5 1/2 inches tall). Made and hand-painted by artists working at the tiny MAROLIN® workshop in the Thuringian Forest of Germany, this scene would make a great addition to one's Christmas collection and an heirloom of tomorrow.
