| The German firm Gebruder Schneegass made furniture for dollhouses which was typically decorated with three holes - here on the cornice of this small wardrobe or armoire. This lovely item for an antique dollhouse or German room box is approximately 7 1/4 inches tall, 4 1/2 inches wide and 2 inches deep. It has turned knobs on the top and turned columns on the sides at the front. The legs are lathed as well. The two front doors are functional as is the bottom drawer. Both the doors and the drawer have pewter pulls. There are 3 metal hooks inside for dolly to hang up her dresses. One tiny block foot at the back has been replaced (not noticeable). Otherwise it is in very nice condition. Circa 1900. | ||||||||
