| Sweet suite! This bedroom furniture was made by a hired man for a little girl in Northern Germany. It is all handcrafted with very nice detail. The bed has a fluffy white comforter and 2 square European pillow shams trimmed with lace. The linens are not old, but made from vintage fabric and lace. The bed is 8 1/2 inches long, 8 1/2 inches wide; the headboard is 5 1/2 inches high and the footboard 3 3/4 inches high. The dresser - 6 inches wide, 1 3/4 inches deep and 7 inches high - has two functional drawers on each side. The mirror does have a bit of silver loss which makes it even more charming. The nightstand has 2 functional draws and is 3 1/2 inches tall, 3 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches deep. The accessories, apart from the linens which are part of the sale, can also be purchased from antikhaus. Circa mid-1920s. | ||||||||
