| This Belsnickle or Santa is on his way to deliver toys to good boys and girls and not such a happy treat to bad ones. He has his toy sack on his back and a switch in hand. There are 3 trees on the platform, 2 of which are splinter trees. The platform is 7 inches long and 2 1/4 inches deep.The parts are all lathed, carved and painted in the tradition of the fine toy craftsmen of the Erzgebirge - the mountains in the southeastern corner of Germany. This piece is marked 'Made in German Democratic Republic' on the bottom. Circa: 1970-1980. | ||||||
