| Another superb antique toy with primitive flair! The base of this lovely German doll kitchen is 32 1/4 inches wide x 17 inches deep x 12 1/2 inches high. The interior measures 30 1/4 inches in width x 16 inches in depth x 11 7/8 inches in height and is very slightly conical. The room box itself is from about 1870-1890 and displays a lovely diagonally painted floor. There is a small window which has been restored with old glass and wood. The curtain rod is antique with newly made curtains. These have been made entirely with antique materials - fabric, crocheted lace and thread! The furniture and some of the accessories are somewhat younger than the room box but appropriate in style and size. Only the little hot mat is a new item. Originally there were probably shelves on two walls where there was no green paint. These areas have been washed green. All of the items shown except the doll are included in the sale.
