| This jolly Jack-o'-Lantern is made to decorate your Halloween feather tree. This hand-painted ornament is made of papier-mâché. The process of making such ornaments goes back to the mid-19th century. The manufacturing process for papier-mâché is similar to that of porcelain, but papier-mâché shows much more detail than porcelain or glass. After the ornament dries, it is primed in white and painted by craftspeople trained in the art of porcelain painting. 'The antikhaus collection' for Halloween has been done in cooperation with MAROLIN, an old German family firm which has been manufacturing papier-mâché holiday ornaments for over a 100 years.
