| This candy container is another German folk art item from our Werner Brauer Collection. He is 8 1/4 inches tall and carries a basket on his back for his Easter goodies. His head can also be removed to put sweets into the container body. He is made of papier-mâché using an original mold from the early 20th century. His eyes are glass. Mr. Brauer creates and hand-paints all of the items for this collection in his Central German studio. The rabbit is signed by the artist and dated on the bottom. | ||||||
