Offered is this beautiful and rare French Sabino glass 'Waterfall' lamp from the 'Art Deco' period (C: 1925). The lamp is 17 1/2 inches (45 cm) tall. The shade is 6 1/4 inches (16 cm) in height and 5 3/4 inches (15 cm) wide at the bottom. Overall, the lamp is in good condition. The metal and the lower glass portion are in fine condition. The shade has an internal bruise (can't be felt with fingertip) and a couple of scratches (one in the top-inside part of the shade and one in the lower portion of the shade - both can be felt with fingertips). As occurs in some Sabino lamp items, the lamp is unmarked, except for the metal (marked: S.R.L Co N.Y. Patent Pending). Most likely, the glass was ordered from Sabino by the lamp company and was put together. A similar Sabino 'Waterfall' lamp is shown on page 103 of the book, '1000 Lights: 1879 to 1959', Taschen Publishing (shown in last picture here for your convenience).
