Offered is this beautiful large ( 8 1/2 inches wide and 7 3/4 inches tall) vase, made most likely by Thomas Webb & Sons of Stourbridge. The vase is in excellent condition. It is unsigned. Most likely it was made by Thomas Webb, based on the following features that were typical of Thomas Webb: (1) polished pontil, with the inner casing showing through at the bottom, (2) usage of applied clear rigaree, (3) usage of uranium casing (the vase glows under black-light, showing the presence of Uranium salts on the vase's inner casing-glass - see last picture).
