This is a rare and beautiful console set made by Victor Durand's Vineland Glass Company, around 1925. The set consists of a large footed bowl and a pair of matched candlesticks. Each of the pulled-feather decorated pieces has an ambergris-colored foot. The bowl is 10 1/4 inches wide at the top and 5 1/4 inches tall. Each candlestick is 5 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches tall. The set is in excellent condition - it appears that the candlesticks were never used (there is one scratch in the bowl - see last picture). All pieces have polished pontils. Though unsigned, the set is guaranteed to have been made by Durand (refer to pages 80, 82 and 96 of Meschi's book, 'Durand the man and his glass).
