Nice small Austrian bronze of a blackamoor reaching on his knees with a knife. His shorts and eyes have been coldpainted and have some wear. There is a lot of tension and energy in the piece even though it only measures 6 1/4 X 3 X 3 inches. ca 1890

This beautiful Art Nouveau , Galle, cameo glass vase has a Japanese feel. Although this cabinet vase is only 3 inches tall, it has a monumental quality. The carving in the glass is deep but very elegant and wistful. The deep purple on top fads to a yellow on the bottom where it is signed galle twice. The absence of a star means it was done during his life time. ca 1900 Good condition

Nice scrimshaw whale bone busk or corset stay is carved with three designs separated with architectural arrangements. On top is a schooner on the ocean, next is a pirate/sailor, on bottom is a lady with her tiny foot coming out from her skirt.The form has a heart or bosom shpe on the top. I bought it about 30 years ago and it was supposed to have been in the Admiral Perry estate auction. It is in very good condition, 14 inches Beautiful work. Late 18th century early 19th century.

Interesting wooden carving of a King or Bishop figure, may have been part of a giant Chess set or from a church. Medieval looking with some damage to crown and side. New hook on back so it can be hung. 31 inches tall 6 inches wide. Has age, but I don't know how old. Ca 1880 ?

This large, figural serving fork made by Frances Higgins II London, 1872 is beautifully detailed. The figure appears to be Bacchus although it looks feminine, the attributes of grapes and a wine cup with a snakey grape vine wrapping around the body and handle of the fork are present. The hallmarks are on the back of the fork. 11 inches long , fork is 2 12 inches wide. Good condition ( the r date hallmark has a little line in it.) 1872 5 oz

Fantastic, Sterling Tiffany & Co. large, ornate ice tongs in the rare Olympian patern. The form is a three talon claw on one side with the frieze of Apollo and Hermes ? at his wedding?. The bottom is a beautifully pierced plaque with the same frieze attached. he scene which is very complex six figures, two of which are gods with a wheat attribute and a lyre. It was probably designed for the Exposition Universalle, Paris 1878 by Edward C.Moore or Anoine Heller...

Sweet Art Nouveau clear glass pitcher with sterling silver overlay has a ground and cut in a star motif base. Very good quality glass reminds me of Hawks, although it is not signed. The silver forms wide decoration around the lip with a flower motif and winding down with an M initial in a silver cartooch in the front. A small ornate (I think) C is under the spout. Marked sterling deposit 370 around base. Glass in good shape with a small bubble on the left side (in the making)...

This is the largest hair barrette I have ever had, it is just short of 6 inches long and 2 inches wide. It weighs 49 grams. The design is a beautiful intertwined, art nouveau flower motif. The mechanism on the back is very sturdy and will hold the heaviest of hair.It is signed with a c inside an S. Ca 1900. ( Small repair visible in photo 5 )

Bronze letter opener signed Tiffany Studios, New York 1095, part of a Zodiac set. Scales on one side and Scorpion on the other. The point is bent a little The finish has a silver tone. ca 1910. 10 inches long.
