This large, figural serving fork made by Frances Higgins II London, 1872 is beautifully detailed. The figure appears to be Bacchus although it looks feminine, the attributes of grapes and a wine cup with a snakey grape vine wrapping around the body and handle of the fork are present. The hallmarks are on the back of the fork. 11 inches long , fork is 2 12 inches wide. Good condition ( the r date hallmark has a little line in it.) 1872 5 oz

Fantastic, Sterling Tiffany & Co. large, ornate ice tongs in the rare Olympian patern. The form is a three talon claw on one side with the frieze of Apollo and Hermes ? at his wedding?. The bottom is a beautifully pierced plaque with the same frieze attached. he scene which is very complex six figures, two of which are gods with a wheat attribute and a lyre. It was probably designed for the Exposition Universalle, Paris 1878 by Edward C.Moore or Anoine Heller...

This is the largest hair barrette I have ever had, it is just short of 6 inches long and 2 inches wide. It weighs 49 grams. The design is a beautiful intertwined, art nouveau flower motif. The mechanism on the back is very sturdy and will hold the heaviest of hair.It is signed with a c inside an S. Ca 1900. ( Small repair visible in photo 5 )

Ornate open work basket, 800 silver German is gorgeous. Heavy decorations of kissing birds and garlands of flowers with bows make up the sides. The center scene is four fairy type angles playing in a pond with a church in the background. Nice condition weighing 416 grams. Halmarked. 10 1/2 long 9 inches wide 3 inches tall. ca 1880
