| A stunning hand colored lithograph on woven paper by Emile Lassalle (1813-1871) is done after a painting by Paul Hippoyte Delaroche(1797-1856) in 1852. It is published in Paris and Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1852 by W Schaus in the clerks office of the District Court of the United States for the Southern district of New York. On December 2,2004 Christies sold for $1,912 (Sale #1527) one in similar condition.. 19in X24in. Some pale light staining surface soiling and foxing, u the color is very vivid and no tears or folds. Back has some wring and $16 and some ruff edges. Over all is makes a strong statement and is very decorative. Fall in love with Napoleon. | ||
