| really wonderful petit point purse ca 1880 with beautiful portrait of young lady painted on ivory framed and mounted on the brass jeweled frame with lion heads on end hinges. body has lovely medieval scenes, front has "lady" with lady in waiting at her side in a garden ; back has heraldic lion in a garden with monkey and faun and trees and flowers. has some condition issues i.e. lining is torn see picture, and a few spots are bare. see close up, over all it's a marvelous piece of art . 8 1/2 X 9 in. | ||
