Extremely rare vintage Halloween wooden ratchet noisemaker decorated with a full-bodied witch with composition head and crepe paper clothing. Noisemakers with full-bodied figures are very uncommon. Marked "Germany". Circa 1920. Condition is very good, with the witch having just a little wear to the paint and a small chip on the back of her head. Size: 9-1/2" tall.

Extremely rare vintage Halloween wooden ratchet noisemaker decorated with a composition devil head wearing a ruffle of black crepe paper. The wood is stained orange, black and green. Marked "Germany". Circa 1920s. The devil head has a few nicks at high points (horns, ears, nose), otherwise excellent condition. 7" tall.
