| An absolutely stunning periwinkle blue guilloche lid featuring an art deco design of a sun burst with undulating rays. Circa 1929, this is an beautiful shade of periwinkle (not royal) blue and is a perfect complimentary color for sterling silver. You will love the color. This Birmingham box is on raised feet and was made by Adie Brothers Limited. It is .925 sterling silver. Inside is lined with softly padded peach satin silk. Hallmarked with a lion and an E on the front exterior lid, and hallmarked again on the bottom with an Adie Bros. Ltd logo, an anchor, a lion, and an E. In excellent condition with the enameling in pristine condition, it measures 4” wide x 2.25 deep x 1.75” high (10.2 cm x 5.7 cm x 4.4 cm). The photos don't quite capture the color and computer screens vary, but you will not be disappointed. This periwinkle blue is wonderful. | ||||||||||||
