A beautiful French champleve inkwell with a marble and bronze base. Both the inkwell and frame have a detailed enameled design with gold gilt. In the style of Napoleon II, it dates late circa 1880-1900. It measures 3” (7.6 cm) high x 7” (17.8 cm) wide x 4.75” (12.1 cm) deep and weighs 2 lbs. (0.9 kilos).
