This hand-formed and hand-beaten brass dish was found in England, made during the Arts and Crafts era, probably by a guild craftsman. It has a trefoil shape with deeply scalloped edges, lovely raised flowers with entwining foliage, and a rather curious raised forearm clutching a leafy branch in the center. Possibly from a family crest although I would expect more symbols than just the one. The dish measures 7-3/4 inches in diameter. It has the number 2605 and a partial maker's mark of H&H with an incomplete symbol. Dating circa 1890-1910.

A pair of cast iron bookends with their original paint, primarily yellow, with orange and pink. The paint is rubbed off in some places but they still retain a lot of color. No maker's mark or date. Each measures 6-1/2 inches in height, 4-3/4 inches in width and 2-1/2 inches deep. Heavy enough to hold up your largest books.
